Snorkelling on Genovesa

Before lunch we had the opportunity to do a deep water snorkel off the side of the panga. So we kitted up in our wetsuits and snorkel gear and were taken to the Prince Philip stairs which were built after a visit from him in 1969.

The water was cold and we saw gorgeous parrot fish and a myriad of other tropical fish. Great excitement when Trevor spotted a White tip reef shark and puffer fish.

All enjoyed a buffet lunch and some downtime before we went to Darwin Bay for a small walk. There we nesting red footed boobies, sea lions and gulls and the herons. Ross opted to do another snorkelling session off the beach.
