The soggy but magical kingdom

Decided to make the best of the early opening hours and were at the doors just after opening. In the first pic you can see how I was embarrassing my son and how excited we were to be there despite the drizzly weather.

We started with the 'it's a small world ride' which was just fab and a nice gentle rocking boat, with no queue. Then it was the big thunder mountain roll coaster, in increasing rain but we laughed the whole way around as it did not have drops but had loads of sharp bends instead.

We opted for breakfast in the crystal palace, after Cinderella already had a full house in her castle. What luck, we were joined by my favourite characters.

We did a hectic 16 rides during the day, and for cousin Thomas who had screamed in the teacups when we were in Euro Disney with him when he was 2, we went for a ride. As you see Trev was having a ball.
