Trip from Genovesa to Isabela

This was going to be a 14 hour open sea crossing so we had to head off at 5pm. The seas got rougher and rougher and by 6pm Ross declared that he felt so rough that he had to go to bed. This picture is from the sundeck looking onto the land behind so you can see exactly how far the boat was rolling.

By sundown there were only 4 of us for dinner and it was a case of trying to keep the plates on the table. Despite the swaying and rolling boat we had 3 courses of Italian salad, pork chop followed by chocolate volcano pudding. After a quick look at the stars we all were in bed by 8.30pm and have to admit that there was a high chance of us rolling out of bed. Ross woke at 6.30 and we snuck onto the sun deck to watch the sunrise.

A titanic moment in our pj's.
